Last week in Moscow was held a meeting of the leaders of two leading tea companies — the state tea company in Turkey  Çhaykur  and the largest private tea company in Russia and CIS countries  Orimi Trade . The total tea sales of both companies in real terms exceed 200 thousand tons. Вy estimations of experts among the world’s tea companies  Çhaykur  takes 3rd place, and  Orimi Trade  — 4th place.
 Mr.  Imdat Sutluoglu  (Çhaykur) and mr.  Sergey Kasyanenko  (Orimi Trade) exchanged views on major trends in the world tea market, as well as some aspects of regional specificity of tea trade (CIS, Europe and the Middle East). During the discussion, it was suggested the need to unite the efforts of the world’s major tea companies to more effective promotion of the tea category, as well as the development of new approaches to facilitate the active involvement of young people in the tea.
 The parties agreed to continue consultations in this area.
