As the Biggest specialist exhibition in Middle East

Coffee & Chocolate exhibition begins next December with a pack of new eventsTanzanian’s Ambassador in Saudi Arabia assured that Saudi market is an investment goal to his country that considered among the most coffee exporting countries. Global indicators assures that Saudis is one of the most milk consuming people and investment in coffee in the Kingdom is considered one of the most growing investments.
This came during the press conference held by International Exhibition of coffee and chocolate’s organizing committee to talk about the details of this edition, the most prominent participants, new events and the services provided this year. Exhibition’s third edition will be held from 20th to 23rd of next December at International Exhibition Centre and conference in Riyadh.
Tanzanian’s ambassador has considered the exhibition as an important step for his country’s marketing project to enter the Saudi market and Arabian gulf countries’ market seeing the exhibition as the most important economic event on coffee and chocolate field in middle east and an important window for Tanzania to highlight an agricultural product represents its most important exports.
From his side, Mohammed Al Ghraibi a member of organizing committee explained in the press conference that this year’s exhibition will be held at International Exhibition Centre and conference in Riyadh on an 9580 square meter area to be the largest specialized exhibition ever in middle east, assuring that increase in area approves the success of past two editions, where the number of participants has increased this year besides having the approval and membership of Specialty Coffee Association of America and Specialty Coffee Association of Europe, which considered the most important global economic entity in this field.
From his side, Omar Nasser representative of national companies noted in the press conference the growth of the Saudi market in this field, based on Ministry of Commerce statistics, which confirmed that the sales of coffee and chocolate products this year amounted to 700 million riyals, an increase of 12% from last year, referring to statistics addressed the quantity of production by 30 factories specialized in chocolate, which amounted to 28 thousand tons while the market needs 45 thousand tons which means that investment in this field is one of the most successful investments and the most in order to ensure a better future especially for youngsters who wish to embark on investment business.
He assured that the exhibition is an important path for experiences exchange ideas with participated international companies besides it provides good opportunity to meet consumers and measure level of satisfaction and development needed.
Mohammed Alafees, organizing committee adviser pointed to the existence of training and educational workshops for those interested in these two commodities which is going to be implemented during the days of the exhibition submitted by a group of specialists in coffee and chocolate industry field, pointing to the participation of Mike Ebert former president of Specialty Coffee Association of America in those workshops, also noted that the exhibition is witnessing by international and national specialized participations in producing and making coffee and chocolate.
