October 31 Perm held qualifying round of Tea Masters Cup Russia in season 2015-2016

October 31 Perm held a qualifying round of Tea Masters Cup, Russia, season 2015-2016 in the Volga District. The organizer of the qualifying round of the company was Chaynaya obitel- Perm , the championship was held in the Central City Library named after Pushkin. The judges of the championship were Alexander Kormilin (founder of the first Perm tea house), Nikolai Kanischev (representative of the Russian Association of Bartenders), Daria Mikheev (winner of TMCI 2015 in the category Tea Pairing), Anna Pleshakova (winner of TMCI 2015 in the category Tea tasting) and Denis Shumakov (Chief Judge of the TMCI). Participants competed in the qualifying competition of the three traditional categories TMC. In the category Tea preparation three competitors competed. The winner was Gilfanov Alexey (Yekaterinburg). In the category Tea pairing all performances were very strong. French style and Alexei Gilfanov won again. In the category Tea tasting five participants worked with a set of ten black teas and oolong. Vitomskov Ilya (Chelyabinsk) correctly identified all samples and won the nomination. A small number of participants, homely atmosphere, an interesting cultural program and excellent organization of the championship had absolute advantages of the qualifying round TMC Russia Perm. It is a pity that it was not possible to involve a larger number of participants, especially from other cities of the Volga District.
